You sure seem to have some bad luck with that truck.

I stand corrected. Fallschermjager white Volvo operator is repairing the front end damage, not doing an in frame.

Maybe the plastic has to come off before they start the engine tear down. If your going to inframe, might as well get the radiator and charge air cooler tested and cleaned/repaired.

Some plastic had definitely come off, but it was before he had applied the parking brake.

This truck has gremlins. Swear to Jesus. In the 7? years my co has had thid truck, its had 8 drivers including me. It has given every single one of them hell. I am the only one who has not given up on repairing seemingly stupid #### almost on a weekly basis.

    SO...I successfully narfled the garthoc.

The problem? The clamp that holds the section of pipe that has the def injector and coolant lines to cool off said def injector, has a missing clamp, thus the exhaust is not going through the thing that looks like a dpf filter and then up and out the stacks. It created so much heat that melted the plastic push connect fittings and they dumped about 8gal of coolant on the road. To fix this, I grabbed my trusty vice grips and squeezed the 2 lines together to keep them from leaking, then secured them to the frame with a bungee cord.

I had 4gal of coolant & water with me, plus the gallon I caught from the leaking line. I made it 5mi to a CO OP and put 4 more gallons in and now the truck is full. I have made it to the Peterbilt dealer here in Corpus Christi, so I can get the exhaust clamp in the AM and then I'll run down the road to HD and grab either a u shape fitting and run the coolant lines together or I'll stick 2 bolts in them and call it good.

Wont make my delivery tonight, but should be down there by late morning.
