Need help please!!

Had this issue of me not being able to speak to other drivers on my cb. Mind you it was an old hammy down from my uncle, so it was only a matter of time before it stopped working. But first a buddy of mine lended me his mic to try that and see if it was just my mic that wasn’t working. Even with his mic still no one could hear me. So I went and bought a new cb hooked it up and everything worked perfectly. Then I decided to buy some new antennas and then just created more problems. I bought the Wilson 2000’s for my t680 hooked em up and now I’m getting no sound whatsoever on my cb. Tried to tune antennas but still nothing and swr readings are over 2 and considering it’s a brand new cb I don’t want to mess with it more and mess up my brand new cb because of it

 

Kind of at a loss on what to do. I’m currently just going to put the oem antennas back on since they were working and try and see if a cb shop could help me, I just wanted to check and see if maybe anyone knew what’s happening before I put the oem ones back on

 

Yeah I tried to tune but still wasn’t getting any transmission at all, plus high swr readings so I didn’t want to mess with it too much and end up messing up the brand new cb radio. So I decided just to put back the oem ones on, and will run with them until I maybe end up getting a firestick

 

I had noticed that in a lot of videos that coil just don’t work very well cause they don’t sit higher than the cab/cb in t680’s so I’m running the oem ones again and will eventually get some firesticks!
