    More than you know.
    That bridge is actually AIRPORT PROPERTY(it carries the runway overrun and approach lighting systems to Runway 1 Left/Runway 19 Right-the longest runway at Mitchell Airport). They may have to send engineers and technicians to check that bridge to make sure nothing was damaged or compromised. Which means they may have to CLOSE that runway, which can interfere with airport operations-that’s BIG MONEY right there!

    There's one particular overpass on I 10 that gets hit by a raised dump every month or so. One was a fatal, newspaper said when the dump bucket hit it jerked the cab up & flattened the cab against the overpass.

    The white car behind the dump truck hit his brakes before the accident. That can only mean one thing, no cell phone coverage in the area so the 4 wheeler had to look out his windshield for entertainment.

    I think I actually spend more time watching my mirrors than looking forward these days.

    Especially in my personal vehicle down here in Florida. Never know when some body is about to rearend you while texting or flying up the lane alongside you at 100 mph
