2016 CXU613 MP8 and Automated 12 speed direct drive

    Hello.

    I've done extensive reading on these forums and the general consensus about the MP8 and the Automated 12 speed seems to be fairly positive.

    I'm about to drop 40K on a 2016 CXU613 specced with those and I'm really nervous because I've never owned a Mack. I have a good friend who loves them.

    It has 340000 on it.

    Any feedback would be appreciated. I've searched the forums here extensively for information. It's mostly about the injector and cups issue over and over.

    You might want to take a look at the 9+ Mpg Club Face book page. Joel Morrow runs the site and can give you some great advice on Mack trucks. He pulls some incredible fuel mileage out of his.

    The Mack engines are Volvo engine now, the transmission is the Volvo ishift just so you know it not the old days Mack days when they had their own engine. Volvo bought Mack couple years ago.
