Hey. I just got a 2019 cascadia. The steering wheel is off to the left. Was wondering how to take it off and turn it a little. Took horn button cover off and there's a Allen bolt instead of a nut.

Would it be easier to clock the shaft on the steering gear instead?
Dino soar and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I doubt it will work, when I replaced my steering box, I tried that, 1 tooth makes a big difference. I’ve never taken a steering wheel off, but I’m sure it’s easy enough. Might need a puller.

Is the drag link adjustable? I'd start there if it is.
Snailexpress and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

It should be adj. when louse the 2 pinch nuts then turn it, till steering wheel is where you like it?

Position the truck’s front wheels where it would be if it was traveling straight on the road, disregard the position of the steering wheel inside the cab.
Have someone mark the position of the steering shaft and gearbox with a grease pencil
Have someone loosen the pinch bolt and using a pry bar, take the steering wheel shaft off the steering gear box and move it a few notches in the direction it needs to be while you are inside to help determine where the steering wheel should be centered.
Reinstall the shaft and tighten the pinch bolt, take it for a drive to confirm the wheel is centered where you want it.
If it isn’t, repeat the above procedure until you’re satisfied.lester Thanks this. -
Most steering shafts are blind from the shaft to the gear. Atleast TRW and Shephard both are.
I always remove the steering wheel to straghten. Steering wheels are always infinite and the same spline.
OP....I would check with the OEM on the removal. I am not familiar with Late model FL -
Thanks everyone.
