Yet when a black man takes a knee during the national anthem he is branded as being unpatriotic.

When an nba team wears "I can't breathe" tshirts during warm ups they are told to shut up and play.

What happens when the black community starts getting serious voter engagement? Voter rolls get purged, id laws get put into place, polling places are shutteres and voting districts get gerrymandered. Please see Wisconsin in the last 15 years.

At a certain point, emotions take over and rational action becomes impossible.

Making a joke about blaming his death on covid appears to minimize the seriousness of this issue.

Bringing up the man's criminal past makes it seem like you are excusing the officers actions.

 

HAte to say it, but i predict bad things to happen in this country some time in the next few years. Hell maybe even wayyyy sooner.

 

That kind of bull#### is exactly why I think the whole BLM movement is a joke. When you pull that kind of crap nobody is going to take you or your cause seriously.

Let's deal with facts here. Are there any facts that I presented in the original post that you wish to dispute?
And it is a clear fact that had the business where George Floyd worked had been operating normally, he would have still been employed and probably would never have had any altercation with law enforcement.
It is a clear fact that someone who has been convicted of a violent felony, armed robbery and home invasion is capable of other violent acts.
It can also be said that the nature of his employment, he was a bouncer at a night club, means he was hired for that job because of his qualifications, likely stronger than the average patron who he would be charged to control, just like a police officer.
I also presented the clear fact that the officer has a less that stellar record in his past.
Also mentioned was the fact that he had no criminal record in Minnesota.

Too soon we forget a very similar case that occurred in Baltimore Maryland on April 12 2015. Freddie Gray died while in police custody. There was an immediate outcry. 6 Baltimore officers were charged with homicide and all went to trial. All were either acquitted or charges dropped.

And yes it is VERY complicated.

 

Voter ID laws are not racist.
Democrats believing black people are too stupid or lazy to get an ID is racist.

 

Unlike Freddie Gray’s case this one is practically out in the open. There isn’t a snowball’s chance in h*** that this will be “swept under the rug”.

 

How amazing that they had time to do a complete background check on the man before they kneeled on the back of his neck and killed him. That's crack police work!
