This really isn't a black/white issue with the LEO. More a black/blue. Why? Because 9 out 10 10 times one is the killer of the other. So both have an instinct to fear death/harm from the other.

So it's both cultural and primal in nature. After all if you know fire will hurt you. You naturally have a fear of being surrounded by it. Right?

 

Right is right, wrong is wrong. Principles never change. Morals are subject to interpretation,Personal experiences/opinions cloud judgement. The Law is supposed to apply to everyone, equally. It seldom does.

 

That was actually mentioned. He did 5 years in a Texas prison for that robbery.

I don't know. Being attached to any one country on earth is kind of tiring. It's "pick a side" or "get in the hole". You're told to leave some place if you don't like it. But then you head somewhere else and they don't like you either. Maybe it's time to invest in a sail-boat and just live like the mariner from Waterworld. Dry-land is full of drama.

 

Since percentages were brought into play i will chime in. 17% not 14% are black. 90% of crime in America is committed by black Americans. Think about those numbers. If 90% of crime is committed by 17% of the population you have to be harder on that 17%. The failure is not with the criminal justice system, the failure is with the criminals. Also check on fbi statistics in regards to black on white rape, black on white murder, black on white robbery, black on white assault, black on white crime. The statistics show all the black on white crime is far higher than white on black crime. Considering black people are only 17% of the population yet statistics clearly show black on white crime far exceeds white on black crime what does that show you? Shows me who the real racists are, and I'm latino so no one can try to call me a racist; I'm a realist, the proof is in the numbers

 

Also black on black crime. Look at Chicago.

 

Mr. Floyd was a piece of trash. He did his time but his victims will always live with the aftermath of his crime.

STILL not a justification for his murder.

In war once a enemy soldier who was just trying to kill you is captured it's hands off.
Mr. Floyd was an American citizen. A crappy one yes but still an American.
The outrage for me is not the loss of his life but the loss of anyones life in this manner.
