Look out ahead - here I come!

Hello everyone!
I'm a new member to the forum and glad to be here. I look forward to particpating in the conversations. I'm ready to share my opinions (thou few), knowledge (thou limited) and passion for all things trucking (oh ya).

I've got about ten years of experiance driving dump truck for our family owned business. The economy has forced me to look at my options and opportunity has given me the chance to pursue my desire to drive OTR.

Although I've had experience driving, I attended a local school for driving tractor trailer and became certified (not the crazy kind). By the way, this was paid by a continuing education grant.

My plans are to complete this season driving for the family business and transition to OTR during the spring season. I know, not the best timing but can't leave family high and dry.
