Thats the whole idea about spread dumps or lift drive axles, when rolling a cross a single scale just lift and keep rolling (hehehe)

Sliding spread?? man. your just asking for problems there. Good luck on that one. SLiding spread is a whole nother creature and you should have been asking about that not dumps.

I spoke with the previous owner and was told he sliding was very rarely done, but available if needed.

yes but you obviously don't know how much pressure is exerted on a spread axle undercariage. just having it hooked to slide rails alone and never once sliding it is a bad, bad idea.
and wabash isn't the best trailer to begin with. they've come a long way and are probably in the top 5 now but it's no great dane.

well, it isn't my fault he was asking the wrong questions. You would be VERY hard pressed to find anyone who thinks a sliding spread is a good idea. anyone who owns them anyways.

I'm paying bills before they shut my phone off. VErizon has 0 sympathy. lol

It's raining, been raining for a week I guess. that drasticly reduces my cleanup. I'm just clean my stuff out of it, run a mop over the floor and dust off the dash.

I'm fixin to run to beaumont and pick up the solinoid I need to finally turn my engine fan off. I need a few other things too

If you read the first post, first sentence, I ask about spread sliders. Don't know how I could have been more direct than that!

    No prob bro.:biggrin_25520:
I spoke with the previous owner in detail as well as a handful of other sliding spread owners. I tend to do overkill on research before I spend any significant $$. I'm confident in my purchase.:biggrin_25521:
