I grew up a huge Toyota pickup fan. One of my favorite things was the factory front mud flaps on the early 80’s 4x4 trucks. Those have that same look.
Had an 83 4x4, an 85 king cab 4x4 and an 86 Supra. All great vehicles!!!

Now I’m all growed up and don’t fit in them anymore.

Been super busy the last 2 weeks. Freight rates are on the upswing in my area. Hopefully it keeps going this way. More and more loads each day on the board.

Flatbed picking up for you guys?

I did a load of bailed tin going to Weitsman in owego outta north jersey. Never again LOL smelled like a trash wagon after. Had to run to the Beacon for a washout before i could load my jersey run for Monday that requires food grade. Decent rate but not worth the stench

A couple of my close flatbed O/O friendswfriends run out of Dallas, Houston and Missouri said last week was really good for them and each day there was more and more available that had decent to good paying rates. The Dallas one is my nephew who is running my 2005 International 9900ix and he is pulling from the load boards exclusively because he is still relatively new to the industry. Last week his rate for loaded miles was $2.28 per mile and his all-miles rate was $1.99 because he had very few empty miles. He ran 3370 miles. Pretty good week for my 25 year old nephew.

How old and how did you combat the bed rust?
