Hay, Finest . . . not sure of your location, but thinking NY (?>?) . . so I don't know if this would work, but: Transport National A friend of mine who unfortunately is no longer on TTR, left Dry Van to go drive for this ^^ company, making darn good money, here from Ohio. Their main terminal is in WI, but they've got a few her in OH, also. If I were to go OTR again, I'd seriously take a look at those guys. (My pal's name on here was Gunner75 . . so maybe you could do a search for his posts. He actually got banned for 'recruiting' for said company.)

When he switched to TransNat, he was trying to get a few of us 'Buckeyes' to come over with him. I don't really think it was so much for the 'referral' money, just being a nice guy. The mods sadly disagreed.

 

Yes, I would say you can find what you are looking for in specialized open deck right now. We have had a really good year so far despite all the external factors that are negatively impacting the economy right now.
Some of our drivers are on a minimum guarantee for 2 week income if we get slow. It functions like a pay advance that comes back off when the miles and loads pick back up. It is nice to have for a safety net at different times of the year.

 

Just had a brain reckoning moment ~ @CousinVinny might have some input, as well.
