Praxair is a good outfit and pays well.
Some terminals hire new cdl grads from approved schools.

It will help because by your second or third day basically everything comes back to you to a degree and starts to become second nature so this will make your training much easier than someone who’s never driven before. And I suppose once you apply for jobs, I mean yes mentioning that 17 years earlier you drove A tractor trailer probably can’t hurt. It’s just you’ll have to go through the process again.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think two years is about the maximum amount of time you can stay out of the game without having to start over from the beginning.

Depends on the company. Some companies hire with 20 yrs. out of driving.
