People love to condemn early, and never apologize later when they are wrong.
So, don't count on it.

 

His wifes sister or friend has set up a go fund me page being he is in hardship after losing his wallet and phone to the peaceful protesters.

Credit cards all cancelled because of stolen wallet.

I’m sure he has a towing and storage bill.

I’ll check out the authenticity of it all tomorrow but if it’s all good I’m going to throw the poor guy some help.

I TRULY & GENUINELY do NOT wish any ill will or bad luck on anybody, REGARDLESS of what part of the world he or she is from. In fact, I wish the absolute best of luck to EVERYBODY.
However, being an American citizen, I TRULY & GENUINELY do care about the United States of America. This is why I post the statement that the reader sees at the end of my posts.
Again, I have nothing against anybody from any other part of the world.

Towing and storage?
The truck was wrecked by rioters!

File a claim with your insurance and if they deny lawyer up.

Legally this guy should have the same protections as a storefront owner.

Probably needs at least $1,200 in repairs just to be road legal now. New glass all around, replace all the mirrors. Etc.

 

Really? How fast was he going, and what was the posted speed limit? Must be nice to have radar built into your eyes that can tell the speed of a vehicle from a video.

 

The most troublesome thing about that statement is that you think that way AND have a commercial driver's license.

 

I drive whatever speed I can stop in my vision range. Car or big truck. No numbers required.

 

Another thing that comes to mind on this about the “speeding” part is. If it were me and I was already on a highway that was scheduled to close and started to get this erie gut feeling that it is being closed down sooner than it should and I’m the only one on the highway I’d be hammered down to get thru there too.

 

I won't apologize since I didn't think it or suggest it.
That said however I think that the posters here who say shoot first ask questions later....are describing exactly what the pedestrians thought. I completely think they perceived it as aggression. Wrongly. But understandably. Since they feared for their lives its human nature to see the threat as an intentional act whether it is or not.
Just something to think about.
