We're regulated, why aren't the brokers? They make us sign away the transparency rights granted by 49 CFR §371.3 and are keeping too much of the rate

There is transparency in brokering , you as the carrier can see the $ if you ask for it. That is the law.
As far as fuel goes that is simple economics , supply and demand. I made my best profits when fuel was the highest.Coffey and truckdriver31 Thank this. -

Right now, I don't have a choice, as I'm still a company driver. With the places I've gone, trying to haul direct, I'm told they have contracts with brokers.
The places we can haul direct from, the broker pays more than the shipper.
I don't get that logic -
