I am a licensed auto appraiser of 10+ years and I come from the corporate world. Since I am starting to doubt if my old job will ever come back( lost it due to COVID), I am looking into trucking- I would need around at least $60k/year to pay the bills - to start off- is this possible as an entry-level trucker? I would try to get all the endorsements I could up front to ensure higher pay.

$60K is very doable for a new driver with all the endorsements.

Ok cool- I would be going the private school route(TDI) then maybe go with one of their preferred companies- Schneider, TransAm, Averitt, US Express, TMC, KLLM, Cypress, Stevens. Which typically pays the highest?

Read the reviews on each, then decide what kind of trucking you want to do, reefer, flatbed, tanker, ltl, etc. You still have lots of time, start reading threads.

I'll throw Magnum in the mix just because we run NC and it's better than what you listed.
