Back on AAA Cooper, I really enjoyed the benefits of getting to experience a side of the industry I hadn't before. Not taking anything away from them as a company, but I feel each yard is ran differently and my local just didn't fit the needs of my family for the time being.
I too, appreciate this thread and it's been a pleasure to sit and read and contribute from time to time my own take on them and hope to continue to in the future.

My apologies @Kstrong86 , didn't intend to reply to your post- it's not really in line with what you're saying I meant mine to be more generalized to the original topic, but nonetheless thank you brother. Each of you really do take care out there on the road and do your best to be safe even if that means taking the long way around. I've never been one to intentionally be close to confrontation but also won't hesitate to stand my ground. Foresight is key and proper planning goes a long way to making it home.

Not a problem brother. I will say each terminal does operate on its on. It’s not standard across the board. I’m glad you were able to find something that fit your family needs. For now it’s fitting me for what I need but in the long run I’m hoping I can continue this journey.Matt1924, 88 Alpha and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Would anybody on hear happen to know what top pay is for dedicated job in NC.
Matt1924 Thanks this. -
Too be honest I wouldn’t have the slightest clue. I would only assume that it either depends on the account or the terminal. Although I have heard that the dedicated drivers here at Cooper only make about $22 an hour. That’s it. But if you want your foot in the door to an LTL company then that would be your best chance to at least get you some LTL experience. Just my thoughts. I would say just apply and ask what the pay is. You can either accept it or turn it down. I had a local job offer me something last week ask the pay and turned it down.Matt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

@Kstrong86 whats up brother how you been man? Hope everything is going well on your end. Are you guys getting more. Busier or is it just steady.
Matt1924 Thanks this. -
Hey man. It’s going good. I don’t know man. It’s weird on my end. I would say it’s steady. I remember this time last year I use to be able to run extra runs on saturdays if I wanted to. COVID slowed everything down so freight has been steady. Normal mon thru fri how about youMatt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
-
Oh man I figure you guys would be slammed with freight. Freight here on my area is been steady hopefully it does pick up a bit more.
-
Well on my lane not really. Sometimes they say Dallas has no freight. So then they send us to Dothan then from there to Atlanta then back to Florida. I hope it picks back up as wellMatt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
