I run General RA. They seem to be holding up pretty well, considering I do a lot LTL.
Although they are a little expensive.

thanks for the info!Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I think double coins are owned by Michelin, their Chinese made tires! I've also had good luck with them,Rideandrepair and Bigrigmayo93 Thank this.

I’m thinking about giving them a shot!Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I had double coins on my wagon. Never had an issue with them.
Rideandrepair and Bigrigmayo93 Thank this. -
If it were me I would get the 11R 22.5. Especially if that's the same size you have on the tractor.
When it is time for me to buy a whole new set of tires for my trailer I will buy 11 R22 5 so that they are interchangeable with the tires on the tractor.Rideandrepair, Bigrigmayo93 and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
There are a lot of new tire brands these days. Double Coins have been around for twenty or so years and I have not seen much problems with them on local trucks.
Rideandrepair and Bigrigmayo93 Thank this. -
I have 11r24.5 on the tractor. But would prefer 11r22.5 on the trailer. I feel they’re easier to come by.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I agree with that they are the most plentiful.
My truck had 24.5 Tires on it but they were dry-rotted and I had a good set of 11 R22 5 tires.
When the time comes I'll have to think about whether I want 11R 24.5 tires all the way around on the trailer also or if I stay with the 11R 22.5 tires.
Whatever I do I want them all the same. It's much easier for keeping spare tires and it's much easier to recycle your tires from the tractor back onto the trailer and get more time out of them.Rideandrepair and Bigrigmayo93 Thank this. -
Totally get you on that. I guess it depends on performance. Did your fuel economy go down when you switched to 22.5 on the tractor?Rideandrepair Thanks this.
