You’ll have 30+ driving hours under your belt before you leave the hotel. Great start my man!
Redtwin, meechyaboy, Mountaintrucker4302 and 7 others Thank this. -
The login used for the Qualcomm on my truck is a combination of my initials and the last 4 of my phone number. At tmc it was similar. I suspect he's probably getting the admin papers filled out... at least I'd hope that's his motive, surely no western express trainer wouldn't do something illegal such as driving under your name.
On a side note, 100 hours driving time for training? Is it really that low?Kyle G., Coffey and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
I guess if the DOT asks I’ll have to respond with, “I’m just that good.” Lmao

I’m doing flatbed and know almost nothing about load securement after their brief 3 day class and I’ll likely have to learn a lot on my own since I’ll only be with a trainer for a little over a week, but yeah I’ll do updates primarily on my loads; tell me if I completely f’ed up and if I try to go down the road like that a light summer blade of grass will blow everything off my trailer, or if I’m on the right track hahaKyle G., Dave_in_AZ and Coffey Thank this.

The trainer probably ran out of hours. I wouldnt worry about it. The trainer is willing to give you free drive time. Let it roll

There is a Flatbed forum here with guys that have years of experience. And yes they do joke about and at times give W.E. a hard time, but if you need any help they will tell you the right way to secure a flatbed load.Gearjammin' Penguin, FerrissWheel, meechyaboy and 6 others Thank this.

Good for you! As stated above, be sure to check out the flatbed forum. Lots of good folks post regularly over there and there is an abundance of useful info, pictures, tips, etc.
Flatbedding isn't rocket science, but you definitely have to know what you are doing. Keep an open mind, always be aware of everything going on around you, and always be willing to learn.
Good luck!!!FerrissWheel, Speed_Drums, TripleSix and 1 other person Thank this. -
