Good job! Wouldn't have expected any other outcome with your ocd, errr... aaaaaa.... cough cough, I'm mean attention to detail.. :D

On another note. Is it just me, or does it seem like the fuzz runs down O/Op's for roadside inspections with a much higher frequency than companys rigs..?

Back to sitting in Brownsville TX waiting on TX to approve a new route .... at least it would appear the pool at the hotel is open again.

Right..? I mean I get it, when they see my pile squeaking down the road on 4 axles, rough paint, & a newly uncovered Tasmania'n devil on the side, their expression might look something like this..o_Oo_O:eek:o_O Then upon inspection they realize everything, for the most part, is up to snuff, & I roll on 30-40mins later.. I understand why I get it frequently.. But..

@Tug Toy rig looks great. Probably better than it did in '01 when she was brand spanking new. Not to mention polished, & shiny why would the law think this man is slacking on maintenance, or anything for that matter.? Its easy too see he gives a darn..

Had to take it 2 different places in the plant, since no one seems to know the plant doesn’t have a forklift that will lift a 49,350 mould.....

Had a old timer DOT cop tell me in about 2011 that he didnt pay much attention to old clean trucks. He figured someone has to be taking care of it to last that long. Claimed he looked for the 4 yearold truck that the guy is making big payments on and not taking care of it.

I’ve had 4 roadside inspections in the last year. Thankful all were clean. This guy was ridding about my 8 o’clock for about 2 miles after he pulled out of the median. Said he heard a tire thumping on the passenger side rear trailer axle when I went by. ( I got a few lumpy tires but not in that position ). He did smack both RR trailer tires while walking up to the cab.

He did ask me i I get bonus from my company for clean inspections?

What ever the reason he picked me I don’t know? What ever I’m doing is working so we will keep doing it?
There are several things on my truck I could be written up on at any given time so I’m thankful that they are not looking to close.

Example is the exhaust blew a hole last week at the back of the cab and I haven’t changed it yet. I know I have one of the 9 running lights out on the back of the trailer, there are a couple trailer shocks that are “ oiled “ and my trailer ABS may or may not work at any given point in the week.
Maybe if I blind them with shiny they will miss some of it I guess?

Slowly making my way “down Atlanta way”. Fortunately it was break time. image.jpg
