I wish i could talk to a driver there on the lease ( flatbed ) because i have a freind ( TK ) who works there as a team driver.I drive for ( black & crome ) and was thinking about comeing over??? but have heard good & bad -- like 0 pay days whats the bottom line about them
-
I was leased there as a flat driver... stay where you are....
or look elsewhere..
-
I know TK.
And Sue.. Remember, though, they are TEAM drivers.. so it's hard to not make money.
-
just like mr green said. Why would you lease a trk for whatever a week, when you can go around the corner to a dealer being you have decent credit and buy one for about 1,000 a month.
MarineNewRookie Thanks this. -
I know where you can get a good used truck with bad credit as long as you have a good work history
-
that is true-- flatbed over at prime is not making any money right now.
-
Where please?

It would be best to feel the job out. Example: Read all the fine print. Take the time to know what you're getting yourself into. Take time in making your decision final. afterall, once you sign on the dotted line you're expected to fullfill your end of the bargain. I believe a good many of us forget this point. And it doesn't hlp much when a recruiter is painting a pretty picture. In reality nothing is what it seems. Thats why you have instincts. If it really is too good. It probably is. We all know that from some experience in our lives.
A recent example, look at the recent housing market burst. People had million dollar homes and were only making $30,000K a year. Come on... Banks were giving out mortgages even though they knew these people could not pay their loans. Do you really think the banks or mortgage companies did not have a plan b? If not, I can probably sell you the Brooklyn Bridge. BTW: Check out my ad for it on EBAY. Real cheap act now. It's going to go real fast. -
Nobody got a loan for a million dollar home if they only made $30,000. I get your point, but you have grossly exaggerated it.
No, banks didn't have a plan b... that's why many of them went under.
