At the least a air pressure guage would help a lot. I put one in my old freighliner and it wasn't very hard. I had to make a hole in dash for guage.
The timpte should have box with air guage in it. I just used the trailer guage for a long time. Would be hard to get axles right with trailer guage though. Going local wasn't that big a deal to be over on axles...they don't check us out unless we were over on gross weight. That's with portable scales...no permanent scales around here. -

Update!!!! Each hole is eveidentally 300lbs....
Scale weight from 11300, 34560, 33360 >>2 holes forward>>>11820 33880 33500
TA can Kiss my Butttttt!!
Shower timeampm wayne and RW. Thank this. -
Looks like moving it forward worked. Hopefully no more shoveling.

Probably afraid to because of liability or something.
Thanks for letting us know how much the weight changed when you moved the 5th wheel, I always wondered that. -
between moving the 5th wheel forward and having them put the load ON the doors has already made a difference........ 27k rr 24k fr seems to be what I need...... now if I can get them ALL to load me that way I'd be set....
if anyone has a line on a 70- 90psi guage let me know.... I carry a drill so I just need to get a holesaw for the right size. I'm sure I could install it in a couple of hours.certainly faster than I can shovel LOL .. thanks -
well 5 mouths, seems we both learned something ,with your delema im glad you got it handled ,!!!!!!what a way to spend your restet time!!!!!!!

I knew he could figure it out.
7mouths2feed Thanks this. -
LOL If I hadn't been doing the 5th wheel I would have been installing a set of driving lights to shine down the side of the tractor so I can see whats beside me when backing in the dark. They wouldn't have helped with the fuel tank but when backing in some of the load and unload locations you can scrub your steers.. often your (my) eyes can't adjust from looking out at the sun to looking down into the dark fast enough so they should help with this issue. Guess that will be my Sunday chores.
