Let me put it this way.
I see a vehicle going 100 mph, I will call the police. It is reckless, dangerous and a risk to all safe drivers.
I will have no loss of sleep over it.
I go to accident sites for these drivers that have to pass everyone and become a hood ornament or a tree decoration. I live with what I have seen when I sleep at night.

Then you just are not a very good driver. Not a professional, period. Even though I speed, I stay in the right hand lane except to pass. You stupid yankees have no manners. And no, I do not care how many feathers I ruffle. You are all a bunch of inconsiderate lazy slobs that do not want to take the time to monitor the traffic around you.
-
I imagine I have driven many more miles than you have and not had a speeding ticket.
There is no reason to get personal or whatever. I believe the drivers in your area are the worst and lack all manners. However, that is a general statement of the area, not you. I was assuming you were a professional, I may be wrong.
I am not one that blocks the middle lane. You have no right to assume anything here. -
I don't think he said that he does drive 100MPH, I gathered what he said as being figurative.
The laws says keep right, except to pass.. There are no speed variables.. If you aren't passing, you should be in the right hand lane, there is no stipulation on speed.
It's also common courtesy, doing the speed limit or not, if you are stopping someone from passing you, even if they are speeding you are still impeding, technically.Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
The law also says you can pass when safe, but the maximum speed limit is to be followed.
-
You are correct, although if you are caught impeding and that is your excuse you will be told that it is not your job to enforce the speed limit, I've seen it happen, also an impeding ticket isn't cheap.
I'm also NOT assuming that you are a center/left lane blocker like we're referring to. When i say "you" I'm referring to anyone in general, not accusing you of doing it.
Comparatively, you can also receive an impeding ticket for deliberately holding back traffic when you are coming up to a lane that is ending. I don't usually worry about anyone elses speed besides my own, it's not my problem unless they are putting my life at risk, and if he wants to pass me at 100mph more power to him, that just ensures he's farther away from me when the #### hits the fan.. lol -
Especially when the 4 wheeler are calling the trucks in for it.
Problem is when he wrecks, I have to stop. -
Yes, that can be a problem. But i highly doubt he's doing 100MPH in his truck to be honest, if he is he's liable to lose his CDL among other things. I've done stupid things in my day, doing 100+ when i was younger, (in my car ofcourse) I never wrecked.. So that last statement would be more like an if than a when.
Besides, reading his post it sounded more like an exaggerated figure just making an example of some of the annoying people on the road who exhibit poor lane usage, I still don't think he was being literal, of course he's the only one that can clear that part up because i can't speak for him. -
He said he did it in his car. Since 2005, it makes no difference what the vehicle is. -
lol, i missed that one apparently.
