A few minutes won’t hurt it. Worst thing could happen is warping compressor head or gasket. You’d have to run it a long time for that. Hook up the bottle test, Start Truck, note how long till bubbles appear. Shut Truck off, crimp or loop both coolant hoses to compressor, and unhook SS air line from top. Start Truck, check bubbles. Same? It’s not compressor. A Within a minute you’ll know, Won’t hurt it. Next check oil. Take return drain line off turbo. Start Truck, check bubbles. Same? Turbos not the problem. Only other cause could be a air controlled heater valve. Depending on your Truck make. You can tell if your cab or bunk valve has a small airline going to either or both. If so, turn off all 4 water valves under hood. Check for bubbles. Same? Probably have a cracked head, blown gasket, or dropped liner.
