Solid. A friend of mine basically replaced my position at FedEx, he’s been doing 6 days a week since the flood gates opened up to do ground runs.

Yeah it’s crazy how fast it all came together. I asked the center manager about it when we were having meetings about furloughs and was basically laughed at, then two weeks later we’re adding Ground bid runs and pretty much unlimited extra runs to cover the extraboard and weekend volunteers.McUzi, Cardfan89 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Seems like I had another solid week. Was off Monday but got 8 hours paid for Memorial Day. Tues-Thurs I did my usual two turns to the hub, and they kept me on the dock longer than normal each day (combination of freight levels up and dock workers calling off because of the “heat”). Friday I turned three times and still squeezed in some dock work. And Saturday I finished off the week with an easy 400+ mile Ground run.

This was probably my highest grossing week ever. I did 4 hours on the dock every day, triple turned or took a via on 3 different days, and took another 400 mile Ground run on Saturday. I think I forgot to put in a drop when I got back on Sunday morning. The handheld gets all weird when the week ends in the middle of my shift and it doesn't display the pay tasks I enter.
I'm not thrilled with the amount of dock work I had to do, but the we were very busy and a lot of people called off because of the heat, so the drivers from the nearby barns are the ones who have to stay late to pick up the slack.Attached Files:

am i reading it wrong. it says 11.54 hooks that you did?
edit: that's the pay 23.08 cut in half.
edit2: new question. does it say anywhere your total hours worked for the week? to me what i saw 20 hours for over 1k gross, but that didn't add up i saw other pay like hook pay, but no mention of total hours worked? from my understanding companies gotta keep it on file total hours worked each week, violation if they don't.Last edited: Jun 10, 2020

FedEx Freight doesn't break down linehaul driving or task pay hours worked on paystubs. Hours worked on FXF stubs reflect work performed while on an actual time clock.jmz Thanks this.

do you know if they keep on file total hours worked for the week. i thought by law they are required to do that?
maybe it's not on the pay setttlment? maybe i'm getting that law wrong? -
You’re on duty time is recorded with the ELD as well as the handheld that you use to enter your tasks and the like.
I don’t know what specific “law” you’re talking about but the stub itemizes everything you’re paid for, linehaul just has significant piece rate vs. hourly work (aside from Californiastan residents who are paid 100% by the hour).jmz Thanks this. -
My total hours are logged in the ELD. Was right around 60 hours. There’s no law that says it has to be reflected on the pay statement.McUzi Thanks this.
