I love making salsa verde homemade. Plus it is the easiest thing to do. The trick is sauteing it after you blend it. I add some avocado afterwards lots of times. Makes a great guac Verde

I'm looking at renting a basement suite or townhouse until the spring. The truck will only be about 7 hours away now so I'll probably burn out there on long weekends. If I luck out and find a place with a garage I might bring some parts out to work on.
