Yes. Last year hired a whole cdl school class of 10 or 15 people. Don't remember the exact number.
The class had a choice of local P&D or Linehaul. Majority chose Linehaul.
Need hazmat/doubles/triples endorsements.

 

"Over Dose" been around a while. Like any big freight outfit, you just never know, could pull the pin at any moment. I heard, YRC is in trouble, posted a $16 million dollar quarterly loss. I thought OD was union, but apparently not. If they stay afloat, probably one of the better outfits.

 

Old Dominion is not union.
YRC has had financial problems for over 20 years. I worked for YRC in a non-union division pulling reefers coast to coast. Made good paychecks and they were having financial problems then. I think they sold the reefer division eventually.
