I've been driving for 30 years.
I'm also extremely tech savvy because I grew up with tech since the 80's.
Unfortunately I believe that Google maps and some common sense felt less awkward then hammer.
I'd gladly switch if someone developed a true commercial vehicle nav that was polished.
I've heard that European drivers have true commercial truck nav.
Anyway ty.
I tried the beta test.

I tried the Beta and did not like it at all. Because if the bad experience I haven't tried the finished version.
Kurt Michaels, D.Tibbitt and Edjahman Thank this. -
Hopefully they will polish it up in the future because I'd definitely pay for a good system that actually works well.D.Tibbitt and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
I also believe that Google and just a little common sense is the way to go.
Texas_hwy_287, z32sean, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
Yeah totally. I've been using Google maps since it was available years ago and it's really come such a long way.
It used to be terrible way back in the early 2000's. I forget when it first came out.
I'd kill for a truly professional truck nav that actually works. I can't imagine how much work it would be to develop such a thing.
Maybe I'll get my wish before I retire, hopefully.D.Tibbitt and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
I bought a Rand Macnally truckers gps when I first started driving.
It locked up 3 times in 3 weeks at critical junctions.
Google on my iPhone2 saved me and that was only 3 years ago.
Being on boats all my life Garmin is thee man. But a $100 navigation program on my iPhone kicks a $3000 Garmin to the street for navigating on the sea.
Returned the randmacnally gps and upgraded to a out of date by than IPhone 6 s.
Use your head and when in doubt stop and look at the situation in satellite view. -
Satellite view is especially great for analyzing places! Not so common sense is particularly helpful also!tommymonza and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Edjahman Thanks this.
