How?
Mine in the front have both gone bad.
I was thinking that you just pop them out and pull off the wires and put in new ones.
Is this correct?
Do you just pry them out?
Appreciate it in advance

I don’t know about Freightliner, but I’ve seen three types.
Some have two tabs that you press in,then push the socket out. Another will have a clip holding it. The other has a nut on the back. -
Mine kinda look like you just pry them out.
But you never know.
I might need the 'special' tool062 Thanks this. -
My 2016 you just pry them out. When they popup about a 1/4" you will see the notch and cut out just lift it from there easy peasy
-
If they have the tabs on the back, you may crack the dash. @QUALITYTRUCK
-
No worries there no tabs just yank them
-
Ok....so you have to turn it until it lines up with the notch?
Then what? A couple of wires to unplug and plug? -
When taking it out there is no aligning needed just straight up. When putting back in if you are using original replacement then yeah. There is one plug on back with 2 wires
-
I hear ya there both my front ones went out too ran longer cords to the back till one of them burnt out too. I got the replacements from freightliner because it was better no rewire and fit right forget the price but wasn't bad got 4 because 2 were bad and kept a spareOpus Thanks this.
