Have you tried blowing them out?

I know most of the time I've had problems with the outlet it's been because there is crud in it. I was skeptical when express suggested it, but golly I was surprised with how much crud came out when he hit it with the air. Seems dirt collects underneath a prong at the bottom introducing resistance.

No, I did try twisting and turning it several times, but no luck.
It's no big deal. Sounds like an easy fix

Hard enough that the chicken will pass through the change from solid to liquid to gas to what-ever-comes-after-gas long before the risk of salmonella is past.

We seem to have gotten a bit off track here.

@InTooDeep, just the silver part, or the plastic collar as well?

If they don't work, what difference does it make how you take them out? I mean they are already broken right?

    Oh Dave, Dave, Dave.
I'd really rather not jack up my dash. Ok?

Oh, I'll be the same . It's good to be best friends with someone who had the good sense to marry a wonderful, intelligent, and nice woman who also comes from rich family who enjoy good booze. It beats the hell out of him marrying the ##### from Oshkosh Trucks.
