Bosch/denso PES2A off old kubota L260 i bought "needing rings" for cheap.

It always smoked a cloud of white, wet stacked, had very low power and loaded up but never drank or made fluids. I crossed enough things off to decide it had to be fuel smoke. No useable timing marks so i finally piston stop marked it using an intake valve to find TDC and then spill timed the pump. It was like 90* out or something crazy. Cant believe it ran.

Things a bear now.

 

In fairness, The FLC aluminum hood freightliners had dual lamp buckets just like the Pete's.

 

It has a Mercedes Benz emblem on the grill.

 

I'm not sticking up for that!

 

Better install a water softener system on that line too.

 

@FoolsErrand ever have an engine wet stack so bad the muffler either plugs up or it shoots flames 3 feet out the exhaust pipe?

 

That is something that excites me. Google radius and carry it with you to prove you know were your at. I have had to use my 100 mile map a few times.
