What the company doesn't know about and never finds can't hurt them... kinda a ####ty attitude to have about things, but if my employer is gonna penalize me for wanting to protect myself and their equipment then that's probably not a company worth driving for to begin with

It will seem like a good idea until some idiots start shooting each other at truck stops while arguing over a parking spot. I seem to read stories like that more than I do about drivers being attacked on the road, although I know it does happen.

The company doesnt want to get dragged into any possible litigation. As we all know the lawyers always go after the deepest pockets. Then hope they settle it out of court quickly.

True. At the end of the day, though, we hope never to actually have to use our weapons. But god forbid we do, it's better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6

I can see this as a good thing AND as a possible catastrophe. This is nothing new it comes up every 3 years or so. Because it amounts to the fed govt overruling states rights. I wouldnt count on it happening. Personally I dont care either way. I stopped carrying in the truck. It was to much of a pain in the butt. Specially when I was going in and out of military bases and federal installations. I quit carrying at home because, I dont have a web belt like I did in the army. So it kept pulling my pants down and lots of stores didnt allow them inside.

IMO, states don't have the right to infringe on the 2nd Amendment the way they do, so it's a moot point. Same thing for most of the federal regs, too.

Crossbreed Holsters makes good, strong carry belts. I've had a leather belt from them for 4 years now & I still wear it every day.

    Not a political post.

Sorry guys if there is a creation of special rights for one group, it should never be allowed.

The rights cover everyone, not just a select few and shouldn't be abridged for any reason.

It is like the retired cop law, there is a special right that is afforded to a small group that isn't justified by any means, it needs to apply to everyone.

A national harmonizing of carry laws with recognition of only residential holders (meaning you have to be living your own state to get a permit) by all states is needed, and that's it.
