First, Southernpride, I assume by your header you are some sort of fleet owner. A business owner, doing business with; brokers, your state government, the federal government if you have your own authority, etc?

The whole point I was getting to is the whole pet/idle/no pets in truck thing.....just comparing one thing to another that bothers other drivers, and said thing is totally acceptable to do inside a truck.....no big deal...

:smt023Gearjammin Penguin....Very Very well said.There used to be a time when most companies cared about their driver's. AND oh yeh companies used to listen to their driver's.

 

Find a company thats has APUs or a good idling policy, wait for your next home time, make sure you get your trips paid and the leave for the other company. Let the owner know why you left and move on. I always say that the ##### in the idling dept wouldn't sit in her office if it was 100F in there!

 

this is why you become a o/o that way you have noone to tell yuo how to run the truck.
