Been running a Hartley TX-to-Platteville CO dedicated and back. 2-3 trips a week with 3-4 days out and 3-4 days home depending on how I'm feeling. Dispatch seems alright with it due to the many other drivers that are already running out of there and how freight is more easily covered during these times.
I've just got to say/brag, that running 10-10.5 hours and then shutting down and going for the next one has been quite easy with my level of taking the whole "C19" thing seriously. I mean, I'll still find some time to get my bicycle ride and pushups in when I can, but for the most part, I'm kind of surprised of how good I am at just staying on task due to avoiding my old habits of sightseeing and lollygagging.
Crazy times brings out the focus!!
The pandemic keeps me focused and left door closed.

It's been the opposite for me. I'm usually focused on getting my load, running hard, getting a reload back to grab another one and doing it all again.
Now I find myself spending more time hanging out with my kid, turning down loads I don't feel like doing, and just chilling more.
Funny how stress affects us all a bit differently.Rideandrepair, bentstrider83 and rachi Thank this. -
Not much has changed here other than not stopping at my fav mom and pop diner everyday on my way home from jersey

I have found that the easiest road food for me is a bowl of oatmeal with honey and some hot tea. At least what I could cook on my el cheapo hot plate.

The Chinese Buffet doesn’t sound very appealing these days.

Can't get buffets to open in my hood.
The chinese don't want to open either. For dine in. Only take is offered.bentstrider83 Thanks this. -
Nor any buffet really. It'll all be either take out, or "cafeteria server tray" style. "All you can eat" will probably be around. But since one can't scoop the food themselves anymore at most spots in the coming years, the judgement axe will fall harder and maybe some slight reduction in gut might occur!!
