For some that come to visit us, they say this is the most uninteresting place going. They ask, "just what do you do in the winter?" Well, I sit by the wood stove, look out the window, and watch my truck rust.

One thing about a very rural area is one has to drive some distance to maybe get what you need or want, sometimes better to just order it online and have the little brown or white truck drop it off. As for DosEquis, that's my pick of beers, but to get a case is a 45 minute ride each way. The local mart in town carries the bare bone basic cheap beer selection. Heck, they don't even carry PBR anymore...

Aww man. Got unloaded at RDO Equipment in Pflugerville, TX yesterday and hauled tail to the house and made it home by 7:00pm. It sure does feel good to be home boys and girls. I need some R & R with my beautiful wife and and awesome little boy. Tonight the munchkin is spending the night with his GiGi and Pop-Pop so me and the Mrs. are going to dinner! See y'all soon on that big road again come Monday!

 

If I was where you are I'd start brewing my own.....I'm thinking about it where I am.

Had a uncle that only drank home brew....raised two boys on a couple hundred acres and was always happy.

Never heard him complain and him and my aunt would always welcome and feed anyone that stepped on the place.

 

I did just the opposite. Put the truck in the shop last Fri for leaf spring bushings, they got to it on Mon. Finished it on Tues and I picked it up at 6pm Wed lol. On my 2nd of 3 loads and I'll be home hopefully before this time tomorrow night.

Didn't you jump ship multiple times and am back with the guy you was driving for a couple years ago???

 

Boy.... Have I been a lazy sack. Ain't bumped the key on ol' Buck since 5/29. Even that was only about a 250mile all in day..

Tax office just opened back up 2 weeks ago. Finally got my appointment, & just filed my taxes for 2019 ..

Not quite sure how, opened my LLC 01/13. Have never once paid quarterly, & have squeaked by somehow doing it every April. Hope I ain't jinxed myself..
