I just hauled a load in totes from Sue Honey in NC, they require tanker endorsement on the driver...

Same here. The honey totes for Sioux Honey is the only haul requiring tanker endorsement. Good runs and then there is Elizabethtown NC to Conyers GA. Meh.

So I’m sitting at the Loves in Troutdale, just outside of Portland. No recap hours until tonight. Sitting watching the show, and a CRST truck takes 4 shots at backing in and finally takes 2 spots next to me. I figure they are on a 30. Then they go inside and get chicken and the passenger gets done and tosses his bag then empty chicken box out on the ground. Sorry, I don’t play that. Picked them up knocked on his door and said, hey these fell out when u opened the door. He looked at me funny and said “I threw them out”. I asked why he would do that with cans everywhere? He said “what, do you work here? I said no, but I don’t want to park in a dumpster. He took them from me.

Either is fine with me. But is it true you’re out for 30 days at a time?

I believe OTR (longhaul) is out seven, home one with minimum of two weeks out... so 14/2? ... but the thirty days out may be due to where home is and because they can’t promise to be able to get you back home being so far off route? Just assuming that is. I lived in South Florida for the last few years and that wasn’t even close enough for an out 30 days option.

The attitude of some people... ugh

I hate parking in Truck Stops for that very reason... between the trash and the smell of urine, Id rather park on an on ramp.

    mushroom1464 and gntorres61 Thank this.

Those kinds disgust me...that is prime reason why folks don’t want trucks parked on their property anywhere..

    (probably more than a few)
