Annoyed 2020 Volvo 860, the windshield washers are awful. Does anybody have a solution or has upgraded them somehow?

Why ask here? Check with your dealer. 2020 most likely still under warranty. Probably an adjustment in the nozzle,

    Socal Xpress Thanks this.

The dealer was no help. So why not take it to a forum where there are a lot of drivers with everyday experience?

I hereby apologize! Some dealers suck, others are hero’s, sorry you got a zero. Still warranties should cover you, whatever the location.

Unfortunately even though it's a 2020, it's past the mileage for warranty. Onto other ideas!

When you say they are awful what do you mean?
Does it not spray on the windshield? Does it not press firmly against the windshield missing spots? Does it only move 1/3 the way up? Etc.?

The wipers contact the windshield, sprayers don't have a wide spray pattern so it only cleans one spot, and smears the rest. probably buy new ones and see if that helps.

Silly question. Have you ran a thin wire down the nozzle. Most likely simply clogged.
Now assuming you did that, my experience is Volvo's don't have a great spray pattern, but I dunno if that's just my experience. Hopefully someone with more experience with Volvo's can help.

As someone suggested a sharp point like a pin or sewing needle. Was the truck painted since new?
I’ve also had the same problem, it was a small split in the hose. It was a bit hard to find
Also used air hose and spray nozzle to clear all the rubber hoses.
    I’m outa ammo
