    Hi Fellas
If you had a choice to chose between living and working in Canada or the US as a truck driver, where would you want to live and why?
Money wise mostly as we all know weather in Canada is not the most appealing

Canada def has a better looking population of women from my experience. That alone might be worth it. But then you have to deal with fancy boy trudeau being your leader, plus youre still a subject of the queen of England. I believe housing and taxes are much more in canada as well. And if youre in a town like toronto, youre still going to have crime and gangs to deal with. You also cant own any guns. I cant speak on how busy you might be as a trucjer up there vs down here. I'd imagine theres alot more regulations in a socialist country, though. Thats not to say the US isnt outrageous with its own regs itself.

    One word: Trudeau

One day, he's going to make it a law for all Canadian guys to honk another guy's bobo. Canada's not the place to be right now.

I totally agree. Is there anyone here who can give a legitimate answer to the OP and his questions? Why did it become political? He didn't ask about who the Prime Minister was or if he would become a subject of the Queen of England!

The OP asked about making money in Canada versus the United States. I know there are plenty of drivers and owner operators here who have lived and worked on both sides of the border. I wish I could help but I have never crossed into Canada.

    coffee is better in Canada.

    Montreal has some great food!

    fishing is superb.

drove up and back every week from NC, for 15 yrs.

seemed to me money was about the same.

taxes equal our outlay of insurance premiums, pretty much.

You would never catch me going to a country like canada. Canada is lucky that the U.S. is here to protect em.

I see the short bus let another passenger off. Make sure your hockey helmet is done up tight.

P.S. We're glad you're not smart enough to know how to cross the border.

I drove to Niagra Falls on the Canadian side a few years back then returned on U.S. side.
I did see contrast in affluence in terms of industry, agriculture, housing.

I don't think you can fairly compare the both even with regard to trucking. They are lucky there is NAFTA.

    12 ga Thanks this.
