I'm not a big Binder fan, except 9670 & 9800's..
Tug Toy is the exception, his 9200i looks darn fine. But he's put alot of work, & sweat into that machine!
But nah, if I was going to knowingly buy something that needs engine work, full interior & not ready to work, it would be a Series 60 powered FLC. Something different & cool to restore.
Also I'm not sure if I'm a Cat guy.? I don't need the big power of the C15 & I hear the fuel economy isn't that good. I've never run one though, so hearsay. I am slightly interested in the C12's for their compact size, & lightweight. But seems not many folks run them so I haven't gathered any real, or consistent information on them..jamespmack, Brettj3876, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this. -
Actually that got me thinking..
@kwswan
Did you ever sell your 9400 with the Detroit.?
Anyone chime in on what a single color paint job might cost?

I see them every day on dump trucks. Drop axles with one single 17.5 per side. Must be legal?jamespmack, Brettj3876, PoleCrusher and 4 others Thank this.

This honestly probably makes the most sense. So I just have to find the truck before they cut it up, & ask for an extra 2-3 feet.? Then go from there..
I have 4.10's now, & don't want to give up much. Really like to stay 3.90-4.11, but I might get by 3.73 if I go to lo-pro rubber..
I like the idea of staying light, & doing a pusher & all. But I may end up in trouble for having the controls in reach, lifting for tolls, cornering, & it just straight driving like crap in inclement weather..
Cutoff with extra length rails can get me to a reasonable length, one splice, & I'll look semi normal, so maybe Johnny law will leave me be a little more often.. LoL
@AModelCat I dont know if your a shaker fan at all, but I know you like heavy steers. Instead of going long & low, I also thought about trying to mimic this rig. 203" wheelbase. Short & tall looks pretty darn neat too!!

Looks like it is a genuine “Alberta Tactical”
Hence the “AT”15
Sounds like a coupon built AR-15?
Why Us?jamespmack, Brettj3876, PoleCrusher and 3 others Thank this. -
To me? Not much. While I like my Glocks, I'm not a fan of composite lowers on AR's.jamespmack, singlescrewshaker, Brettj3876 and 4 others Thank this.

C-12? Why not just commit and get an a, b, or c model? I know a guy....
