That wagon looks awful familiar.. Hmmmm..
    Same.? Minus the conestoga obviously..
Where the beam starts its taper to rise over the forward axle, there is a galvanized plate.. Also kinda looks like it has a steel gooseneck transition, as does mine..

I've probably got him by just a hair on the cool factor..

Yes they did, but only on the paved highway 63. Which by then was partially 4 laned. It does have a rep of being the "death highway to the tarsands".
I dunno, I drove it every 5 days for 14 years commuting, and a few hundred times after that in a truck. Musta been lucky.
I have seen a lot of bad accidents, and have slept on the road for 12 hour closures. Most caused by stupidity, such as passing on solid lines.
I've had cars pass me and have said " that guy is going to kill someone ". And 30 min down the road he did.
During the 2000s it was crazy busy for a 2 lane. And the industrial shift changes exacerbated that.
Now its 240km of it is twinned (440 total from Edmonton). Due to the decline, and low oil prices its dead.

    We'll see. I'm all talk & no action!! :D

Today is the 1st time I ran her some 5/29. Honestly, it sounds like crap. I think I need to have the overhead run by someone that knows these motors first..

Gotta be running right before I start tuning it..
