Sweat'n it out at the Flying hook in St. Mary's, GA.
I need something other than this dam fan. I hate the summer down here. Rather be in my sleeping bag at 20°f..

My drop is at the Kingsbay Naval Submarine base in the AM. If they let me in that is. See how good there gate keepers are..

I turned too soon my first trip in there, crossed the tracks and looped back around the industrial park on the other side. Never thought to just take that shortcut lol.

Season 2 of Highway Thru Hell was filmed there. I was one of the first to see HR52 show up in town on Jamie's lowbed.

I've seen a few stupid things on that highway. No close calls though. I tried to be in Grasslands by 6:00 am to beat all the morons in brodozers coming off shift change.

Remember this? Right at the scalehouse turnoff:

    #### I knew what that was for when I was a kid back in the 90's lol.

Helps when dad's first truck was a '78 and your uncle's first truck was an '84 lol.

I had to wait 4 hours while the jamie davis employee jacknife messed around. He was recovering one of the white volvos that run team at the corner before hangingstone. Winched the truck into his, van was ready to roll over. Had to wait 4 hours. For another wrecker to stabilize it. Allowed me to pencil in a 2 hour break to extend my 16.
Saw Kelly davis a few times. Met and chatted with hugh rowland from irt in mariana.
Last 2 years I commuted I took 881. Was 35min longer. Way less stupid. Unless the weather was bad. Or stupid went 881 too....
