Yeah I ran solo. Teams run 48, too. They run mostly east of the Rockies with the exception of the southwest. Ran a lot down to Flagstaff/SoCal.

I can't find the hiring area on the website; do you know which states they hire from?

99% Dry van, a handful of reefers. I believe they were acquired by Bison Transport from up North. As far as I know, they are completely separate other than pulling the occasional trailer for one another. Have yet to see a mix match rolling down the road.

Do you mean Bison outta Winnipeg? And if so who are you saying bought them?

Edit - never mind, found it online, and it’s other way around. Bison bought HO Wolding

Update on Trucking in Maine: Starting to look for my new trucking adventure. I have been driving Class A dump truck pulling an equipment trailer hauling a paving machine and a skid steer within a 150 air miles. I started at the end of May. Combined with my experience from working with two other companies, I will have 12 months experience at the end of this month. I have started talking to companies but have a question about recruiters. I am getting emails from recruiting companies, not the trucking companies themselves. Is this normal? I am hesitant about someone in a cubicle trying to get me to work for a company that I don't know anything about nor have met anybody in the company. Any help or suggestions?

Recruiters are just doing what they are paid to do. Some drivers name gets out there and spreads like wildfire.

What type driving job are you looking for?
You're already talking to companies; what is the response from those companies?
