I am an owner/operator leased to a motor carrier. They do file the IFTA return, but I pay the tax. I have run under my own authority and have leased when the IFTA was in my name.
Due to their discount, over $0.40 a gallon, I use their card instead of my own. My discount at TA more than makes up for the lower cost at smaller truckstops.
What am I missing?
