You can do as you like, but I personally wouldn't leave those like that. If nothing else, you're inviting some unscrupulous driver to help themselves.... not to mention, I think it looks ghetto.

Lmaooo I was thinking the same on all points; my trainer hooked his on top of his chains

I see lumber, chains, binders, coil racks, and, of course, bungees... unless you have it elsewhere, you better check at your yard there for rubber belting for under those chains. I assume edge protection and extra straps are in the side box?
G13Tomcat, D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this. -
Yep, metal and plastic edge protectors
-
Uh oh, I don’t see any rubber mats, only this fuzzy padding stuff
-
I’ve got 4 more of those paddings on my bed, oddly enough, would this suffice or should I go rob a 7 - 11 for some more rubber?

Dave In AZ (I can't do underscores) will help you with the kitty food~! @D.Tibbitt .. hook him up; tag DAVE for me~!!!Dave_in_AZ, farmerjohn64 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Lol. That is felt. It's not the best, but it'll do as long as it stays dry. Rubber belting is better in that it won't get saturated with water or oil, plus it acts as a sort of anti skid material. Regardless of which you use, you'll probably need/ want more than just those 4 or 6 little pieces.D.Tibbitt, G13Tomcat and farmerjohn64 Thank this.
