    I’ve seen worse.

I’d personally rather have a pistol grip, and one extra shell in the tube for the same length.

Does it make a difference if your firearm is unloaded and locked in a separate box from the ammunition? In that case, would you even need a CCW permit?

Always be on your way to the range. Problem solved.

Or, what if your truck is your domicile? Shouldnt you be allowed to stow your firearms, then?

I've been looking for a Mossberg or Kel-Tec tactical 12 gauge but appears there is a shotgun shortage w the pandemic and riots

I roll with a 20" Mossberg tactical 500A, my life, my choice. I have many hours of training with a shotgun and it's my go to. It fits perfectly away in my closet. It's huge piece of mind especially in these times. I have many friends in law enforcement, they all know truckers carry because we should carry. Be a professional, and no LEO is going to mess with you. In a SHTF scenario the gloves are off.

You only need a cow permit to carry a concealed weapon,if it is locked in a box and in the sleeper where it can’t be reached from driver seat and the ammo is stored separate it isn’t concealed.

Personally I carry a Glock model 19 9mm. I do have a ccw, but thats only good in CA, except San Francisco. However I do take loads out of state. As far as company policy, there policy does not over ride my constitutional rights as far as I'm concerned. I today's current climate, I carry everywhere. Just be aware of local laws there the ones that will bite you most often. If I were to get stopped I would make sure the Glocks is going into a compartment in the sleeper.

I used to stow my Rem 783 .308 under the bunk bed. I think amazon still sells sniper rifle cases that have foam inside (you have to cut the foam to the shape of the gun though).

I have never went hunting in my life. But I carried that with me because I would go visit outdoor long ranges when I was doing my reset at a truck stop. Just don’t carry anything that fires a 300 magnum, big brother will get suspicious,

Here is my motorcycle gun. Saint Victor pistol in 556 with a Law Tactical folding brace. As of now this is my favorite.
