I know it sounds 'odd' but, even though I 'am' a coffee guy, on occasion when it's hot and my palette wants 'cold' (like today ... but I just got home from work...) I will mix up a beet juice mix....powdered beets, ice, water (or milk) and a few berries of any flavor to douse the tartness a bit.

OR, you can just take the beet powder, mix with hot / warm water.... maybe some sugar or splenda (not me) and pour over ice. It's a bit of a 'git ya going' kind of thing, really good for ya, too. I love it.

 

Or one bourbon, one Scotch, one beer!

 

Beets arent good for our home. Doesnt matter if its juice or not. The last time I had some wife said she would go sleep in her van. Might as well call me Sir Fartsalot
