He is, but it doesn't matter; an antenna whip is not enough to trip height sensors, as they have a minimum block time set on them so birds and insects don't constantly set them off.

Volvo @ 62 mph with a good head wind its barely up str8..As soon as i slow down it drops to a lil less than cab height..I dont hit anything at speed unless its like 13'7 kinda deal..

FWIW, and from what Ray, in W. Memphis, himself told me, back when they did the shoot out contests with the big amps (I forget what they called those meets) he consistently beat out the guys with the 102" with his Skip Shooter. He said they never could figure out what he was doing to beat them. Take off angle was mentioned when he was telling me this, if I recall correctly. The original Skip Shooter made in Southhaven, MS (on the border with Memphis) when I first learned about it. First time I heard of Ray he was at Everybody's Electronics in Southhaven, MS. Probably some connection there some way or the other.
