I just wanted to post a quick afternoon update. I am through with everything. chris still has to do the physical because the doctors left at 10:30. word to the wise, go pee as soon as you can, that will ensure you get the physical early.

 

I thought my modem had fallen into the trash also, why I bought a new one. Think River Runner is correct in that our trucks are haunted. All the former drivers in them maybe?

5 hrs and counting and still waiting on a load.

Ok, I am at work doing what I always do and it got me thinking. I am at least two months out from trucking school, would it be beneficial to rehearse the pre trip everyday?

KH, practice never hurt anyone. Ought to have it down cold if you do it just once a day for 2 mos. Will be doing it everyday anywayonce you become a driver if you want to be a good one.

YEA!!! Finally got a load. A 3 stopper. 2 in WI and the final in Joliet. Doge City here I come.

 

Hey everyone, I just had a question that I hoped you guys could help me with. With central, when your done with school and training, and assigned a "Company" truck, what can a person expect? I have read you guys talking about o/o and company spec trucks, what is the difference and what can we expect the trucks to have(Refrigerators, APU's) I am new to this so any help would be great. I am not expecting a butler or turn-down service at night just realistic amenity's, PS all 601 pgs have been very help full and a lot of fun to read......thanks for any advise

so Jess do newbies just get those coolers that plug into your cig lighter to keep food in or what would you recommend? and about how much $$$ should one expect to bring when in school and out with the trainer? trying to get things planned out so I can just focus on learning. Thanks again
