The laptop I have is just a small Dell, so I should be ok with the smaller inverter. And, unfortunately I think I need the hair dryer. My hair is kind of long and leaving it wet and letting it air dry (out the window!) could put me at risk of getting sick in the colder weather. Thanks guys!

Just remember the rule"if it doesn't fit"! You can always cut a days clothing. I had a ski bag from years ago that was really big. almost 46" long by 24" round. Can't find one now that they don't want an arm and a leg for! Bass Pro has this really wonderful canvas set but you wouldn't be able to get it into the truck! You could put 2 bodies in the silly thing but it still looks good!
Redhead makes a nice bag here: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/s...1_800000000_800010000?cmCat=CROSSSELL_PRODUCT -
That's good info. Right now we have 2 nice canvas duffle bags that are smaller than that so maybe we can get one big one for one of us and the other can use the 2 smaller ones. Too bad the one at Bass Pro that can fit 2 bodies is too big for the truck...could be useful if we don't like our trainer!

I was at Wal-mart today looking at the inverters. There was a Black and Decker 400w for $49 (I think) and a 750w for $65. The 400w had cord to plug into the power outlet or the clips to connect to the battery. The 750w only had the battery clips. There was also a smaller one, might have been 300w, the body of the unit plugged directly into the outlet. Just seemed really cheap so I didn't even look at it very close. Is it possible to run the bigger ones, like that 750w unit, off of a power outlet instead of using the battery clips? Seems like most of the inverters I've seen only have the battery clips, even the 400w ones. I don't wanna do something that is going to get me in trouble with the company, such as using an inverter with battery clips. -
I run my 800 using the cord from my 400 to the outlet in the truck. I had to open the 800 and kill the buzzer but it's been working fine like that for over a month now.

If someone has a laptop that can't be powered by a 300w inverter, they have one hell of a machine I've never seen! Most of the power cords that come with them are from 60-90w. I've seen some high-end gaming laptops with 110-120, but they're rare. -
If the one you looked at that had the plug all in the body was the one with the USB port, thats the one I'm using I believe. It actually works great. This is the second one I've bought. The first one was 2 years old and met its demise when I had to ride through a thunderstorm on my motorcycle while it was in my backpack(forgot to take it out). -
