The only way to make what I need to keep the bill collectors at bay doing local is to get on with one of 2 or 3 grain haulers that pay % and run outside of HOS and overweight... Not something I want to do...

Second option is my wife goes back to work, but once you factor in day care for 2 young children more than half of her income would be going to child care. Just not worth it, besides we want our children raised by us... Not some stranger.

I could go back to welding, but yet again I would be travelling for work as much or more than I do now... And working 4 times as hard for about the same pay, maybe a little more.

And none if these take into consideration the awesome family medical coverage I get through my current employer... Its a little pricey the first 4 years but it covers everything 100% after a co pay... Major surgery only costs us $400 max.

I dont get paid vacation... I try to take at least one long weekend at home every month.

She is VERY independent and head strong (some of the reason we are struggling, as I am the same way... 2 type 'A' personalities) so she gets on pretty good for the most part while I'm gone... As long as the car dont break down, or the roof spring a new leak.

TBH... The biggest stressor we currently have is money and bills. Everything gets paid on time, but sometimes it's tight... But if we can tough it out for 2.5 more years it will be ALOT better. By that time her car will be paid off and our medical premium will have been cut in half... This will free up about $900 a month.

Oh yeah... We will make it through, just going to take commitment and dedication... Which we both have, we both WANT to make it work.

For many years. I have talked on a forum with retired cops. They have seen the worst. The have warned. The chaos is going to happen. Be armed. Be in practice. Be ready. It's going to happen.
There is just too many out there who only wish to destroy.
Now you must make a decision. I say the Apocalypse is upon us.
This is all part of why I have moved to live where I do. I won't go into more about me.
This is much worse than just defending yourself with a gun. Look at the war against you intellectually. If you use a gun to defend yourself. They will destroy you. While letting the criminal walk free. There is much more to this. When the Bible talks about he Rapture. I'm beginning to think that must happen. It's becoming too bad. I do know, from personal experience. When things get too bad. There is no answer, no solution. God can and will step in. We need to let him, first.
