D13 owner here. 2012 with a million miles. One radiator at 790,000. Full sixpack cups and injectors at 900,000.
My low oil sensor in the oil pan is bad and throws an engine fault every 3 months or so.
Other than those things, it's been a great truck.
No DEF issues.... yet. But looks like the whole system was replaced under warranty before I bought it.
My next truck will be a D13.

I agree, D13, but cautiously, I would not recommend a with the turbo comraund and probably without a wada

How hard was the dog cleaning for yourself to do?

DPF not dog sorry

Glad to hear it's doing well. I'm not sure about the injectors on mine but the radiator is definitely newer. Also the wiring harness has been replaced. '13 year model truck at 558k now.

Do you check the turbo for play?
I would not run a turbo a million miles.
Too expensive if it fails . -
Anybody familiar with the cut gray wire? One cut on each fuel tank and zip tied. Followed the rioting and both wires enter just underneath the fire extinguisher on drivers side door

yes, this is a modification, rather it was additional lights

DPF, yes, I pulled it all apart and had a DPF cleaning place do the actual filter cleaning. It was somewhere around 3-400 I think. At that time I reaplaced one NOX sensor, upstream I think and put it all back together with new gaskets. Total around $500 and a few hours labor, I was quoted at least $1k by the Volvo dealer.
On NOX sensors, if you need either one, buy online. Crazy expensive at dealer. I got OEM ones (went on and bought both) online and they were much, much cheaper.
